Kanin Book 3 Complete!

Water Kanin is officially complete! (And on the first day of Pride, no less.) But his story is far from over. Right now, I've roughly outlined the plans for an 8 book series.

I'm a little over halfway drafting Book 4: Kanin Fyre. This one has been a lot of fun, since as the name implies, getting to see the characters (finally!) interact has been a delight. Some of their interactions have even surprised me.

Q: "Do I need to read Fyre then before I read the next Kanin book?"

A: No. I'm writing each separate series as its own complete story - you don't need information from other books to enjoy the one that's your favorite. However, some information is revealed in some character POVs earlier than others, so you might catch onto things that you otherwise wouldn't have if you'd only read one of the books. But that's totally up to you!

Q: When will you be posting Book 4 of Kanin?

A: It will start to post once Book 2 of Fyre completes, currently scheduled to finish the second week of June. Kanin Book 4 takes place after Fyre Book 2, which is why I want that one to complete first. And any Fyre-only readers out there: now's a good time to get caught up on Kanin if you'd like to read about her from an outside perspective!

Q: What will the post rate be?

A: I wish I could give a hard answer, but unfortunately, I'm not sure. As many of you know, I got laid off at the beginning of the year, so I've been writing as if I'm a "full time" author since then. However, money is running low, and I need to get a new job this summer. Sadly, that will probably slow down my writing pace. I'd like to continue posting 3 chapters a week, but depending on what sort of work I'm able to find, that might need to go down to 2 a week. Sorry!
