But yeah...
When I do my character research, I like to do it thoroughly. So, Saunders is Irish, right? He speaks English and American fluently, but he's also bilingual as he speaks Gaelic/Irish as well. He's tried to teach Sam this alas slowly diminishing language, hence why he thought the note was from Sam at first.
But yeah, to do proper research I am learning Gaelic as well :) I'm not very good at it yet, I just know a few basic phrases, useless words and, of couse; how to curse (Téigh trasna ort féin <3 ) (...tá brón orm)
I visited Belfast too last fall to have a look around in the city Saunders grew up near. I learned a lot of history, and that one day isn't nearly enough and that I should save up for a longer stay in the beautiful Norn Iron <3
... I know Saunders has his little cannabis plantation in his basement, but I guess that's where I'll draw the line XD
There is such a thing as too much research lol
