Pardon the inactivity

I've been so focused on drawing pages for the graphic novel of SPiKE (and also working under a deadline) that I've neglected pretty much all of my social media pages, with the exception of instagram :p

I might have to have full focus on these pages for a little while longer, so I'll come back with a new update soon when I have more time on my hands to do so.

And thank you so much for your patronage and pledges! I also thought you might be interested to hear that your pledges have been used on financing SPiKE related things, like the laptop I write the chapters and scenes on, and the iPad I use as my mobile/portable workstation which has helped me massively and allowed me to work on art and comic pages from basically anywhere from the sofa to the train, cafes or on "business trips" (I sometimes get asked to come to arrangements and talk about my art, comics and projects). I have also purchased three big bundles of thick A3 paper which I use to create the comic pages for the graphic novel version of SPiKE. Then there's ink for my printer, pens and pencils and other art supplies relevant to this project. Oh, and art software and similar necessities.

So believe me when I say that every dollar helps <3 Thanks to you guys I have been able to afford equipment I otherwise wouldn't have with my income. Your pledges have also quite literally bought me more time to work on the SPiKE project. This would all have been a very slow progress without you guys, so from the bottom of my heart; thank you all so, so much <3 

Not to mention the incredible motivational boost you're giving me! It means the world to me that you believe in me and my story enough to make these donations <3

Tuesday me and my publisher are sending off our second application for a public/government grant to help us publish SPiKE as a graphic novel book series. I've been working on Volume One since our last application in March. I've done the layouts for over 60 pages and most of the script for the rest of it. I'm guessing Volume One will be a 250-300 page book (comic book) and will feature chapters 0 to 16 in its new, revamped version. And the way the story's developed, there's gonna be a good few volumes as this has become a fairly large and complex series ;)

I can't wait to update you more on this :D
Fingers crossed that we'll get that grant, yeah?
Meanwhile I'll keep on drawing those pages ;)
