Portrait commissions (4 slots)

Thank you all for your support and patience with me this past year, it's been a rough one for us all but I'm glad you're still with me, and really hope everything is good in your life <3
With 2022 being part of Covid the Trilogy, I figure this absolutely has to be the year I launch my SPiKE webcomic. After the whole book publishing failure, I found it very hard to go back to working on the pages as I didn't have anything but stress associated with them. I still find myself wanting to scrap all of them whenever I see them and just redraw it my way, only to realize there are a lot of panels and some pages I would miss and really wanna show you all.
I'm still working on it, but far less often than I'd hoped. I've had a deep dive into HergΓ©'s Tintin universe and been on holiday swimming around in those waters for almost a year now, and it's been a huge savior, creatively speaking. It's helped me grow a lot as an artist, learn more as a graphic novelist, and spend more time studying my craft without feeling drained. I worked on some fan comics on the side to help me prepare more for my own comic, and while it still feels like standing on the foot of a monstrous mountain to get back on the metaphorical SPiKE horse, all the Tintin stuff feels like going on fun hikes in preparation for it.
But I do feel bad for not having had anything to show you guys and for mostly popping by with posts full of apologies.
I wanna make this year a bit different.
My goal is to start climbing that big ole mountain and see how far I up can get. Not stress out about the top, but focus on that first step at least, and then celebrate each little milestone.
A more personal goal for me this year is to finally get my driver's licence, cause at 32 it feels embarrassing to rely on having to hitchhike with friends and relatives to visit anywhere outside of Oslo. And I would love to be able to just pack my car and go on roadtrips whenever, take one trip to ikea to get all the items instead of one trip per item, to visit my dad and my friends without worrying about intense planning and timing or how much I can carry or whether or not I can bring my dog etc.. just that sense of freedom to come and go as I please and just drive wherever whenever with whomever, and not feel like a big inconvenience.
So, starting the year off with two things:
1) Opening four commission slots to start saving up for my driver's license
2) Making a Beta Reader tier where I can show pages and/or scenes and chapters from the SPiKE webcomic before they're uploaded to the actual webcomic, to get your opinion, feedback and constructive criticism, to help finetune it before the actual web publication.
A Beta Reader tier will be a way to make sure I don't post spoilers for those who don't want spoilers, and as a little extra treat for the most enthusiastic SPiKE supporters. If I sell the SPiKE comic as issues on Gumroad or elsewhere before or instead of posting them page by page on a website, Beta Readers will get the issues for free.
I haven't launched the Beta tier yet because I would like your opinion on it first.
I also gotta tidy up in the tiers I have first, especially the cameo tiers because while there's still plenty of room for cameos, the six month time limit on it has been very hard to keep track of, so I gotta set aside some time to write down and contact everyone who's pledged for 6 months there and then close the tier until I can figure out a better solution. I think merging it with the Beta tier would be a good option, and just have two tiers alltogether, so the General Support tier and the Beta Readers tier.
As for the commission slots:
I'll only be doing four portraits this round because still I have some large commissions I'm working on, so I don't want to take on anything that will slow those down. But portraits/busts I can do pretty fast in comparison. The style I would like to do this time is a lineart/painting mix, like in the examples below:

(( Disclaimer: the Tintin fanart above is posted here merely as non-profit examples of one of my artstyles, I do not make money on HergΓ©'s characters nor do I claim any ownership over them))
^gotta clarify that cuz their licence holders are notoriously strict O_O'
The commissions are in full color, your character will be drawn from the chest or shoulders up depending on what best fits the composition. Both anthro and human characters are very welcome :)
These commissions are $150 each and can be booked by emailing me at: falseyarts@gmail.com

Alright, so those are the plans so far :) Once the Beta Reader tier is set up, the first bit from the webcomic I wanna show you is the prologue. Maybe both prologues cuz I'm indecisive about which one to go for, the sorta dark and brief option or the hella dark and extended option.
Thanks again for all your patience and support, your patreonage still helps me out a whole lot and I don't know where I'd be without you all, so really: Thank you β€οΈπ
And happy new year! :D
*scatters good karma all around*
