...didney worl?

In protest of *Dizney financing the Don't Say Gay bill, I've been making an exception to my "I don't do fanart commissions" rule by doing exactly that:

 I'm taking Dizney commissions where I donate a small part of what I earn on them (small part cuz I'm poor and need money 😅🙈 but I'll donate as much as I can afford) to organizations/causes directly supporting LGBTQ+ people. So far I've focused on donating to causes helping black trans women and other trans people of color, but I am open for suggestions if you have any particular causes etc in mind!

Why am I doing this?

Because Dizney's been claiming they support LGBTQ+ people by for instance selling rainbow merch, profiting hugely off it, while being reluctant to show any actual queer representation in their productions aside from a subcontext hint or a blink-and-you-missed-it representation that they censor away for other countries anyways, and furthermore they've been making huge donations for years to homophobic politicians actively being against anything queer, including the people behind the "don't say gay" bill.

People all over the globe are protesting against The Mouse, including extremely brave queer animators and employees walking out of the studio, and equally brave teenagers rallying together, queer people and allies, loudly protesting.

I'm doing what little I can do by ceasing any fincancial support of Dizney, no streaming services or merch or anything like that, and instead going back to good old pirating their shows etc, and profitting off of Dizney by doing these commission and making sure some of that money goes back where it belongs: To LGBTQ+ people.

(...on a sidenote, I feel hypocritical for profiting off of these commissions too, but if it helps I'm a more or less closeted queer myself, still figuring myself out but currently feeling comfortable under the non-binary umbrella term, so I guess in that way 100% of the profits go to LGBTQ+ folks. Saying this as a sidenote cuz this isn't about me, I could get sued for doing this, but fuck dizney, I'm gonna continue this quiet riot of mine until they get their shit together and treat all LGBTQ+ people with the respect and decency they and everyone deserves)

I don't have a price sheet just yet, but I'm happy to give you a non-binding price estimate based on what you want your commission to include, or accomodate to your budget by adjusting the commission's style and content accordingly :)
