Mayor Adkins: "Wonderful. The Commissioner Gordon scandal you concocted has pushed us forward beyond what I could ever have expected. It's a good thing I chose for you to join me rather than just eliminating you."
Batman: "Indeed. My addition has been instrumental. And as hard as I try to resist the conditioning, it is impossible to resist your will. Not only have I run your campaign, I've negotiated payments with the criminals I placed behind bars, and I even cast my own vote for you. The changes extend to the emotional and sentimental."
Mayor Adkins: "Yes, Batman. You are in love with me. And we will rule Gotham together."
