Game Diary: 019

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone! Long time to talk? I haven't made a post in a bit because I ended up taking a break for 3 days after throwing my head at the wall for 4 straight days. Sorry for not posting about my short little break but I absolutely hate taking breaks and I hate talking about taking breaks even more. Anyways, yesterday on stream I finished up the main 20 descriptions for Dranaria's eating events. So, now I just have 50 left... Anyways before I shoot myself thinking about writing 50 descriptions lets talk more about these events and what they will actually include, how they will work and what to expect in future Dranaria content.

So, why do these fairly simple events need 70 total descriptions? Well, these descriptions are meant to display Dranaria's weight. Right now Dranaria's weight will and can be displayed from her average weight all the way up to barely mobile, though her weight will be capped for now but I will add an option in the debug menu to turn the cap off for now just so you gooners can see her balloon. These descriptions also contain some dialogue to really flesh out Dranaria and I think a lot of it is also really funny.

But how will these descriptions work? Well, I've explained how they work before but I'll do a quick overview of how they work and then talk about what will actually trigger these events. So, there are ten intro descriptions which cover her moving down the hallway, or the sound of it, walking though the door, walking from the door of the bedroom to your table and then talking to you. There are ten outro descriptions with them covering mostly just a side view of Dranaria and a rear view, her walking down the hallway again but with some changes, then an inner player dialogue regarding Dranaria weight gain and ending with Dranaria reentering the door. The last 50 descriptions will cover Dranaria placing the players food onto the table, focusing on Dranaria's arms, breasts and seemingly lack of interest in food.

Alright, now that I'm done yapping about that lets talk about how they will trigger. So, the Dranaria events are mixed in with the Gabriela eating events. The Dranaria events will trigger at a rough rate of 1:4, which is for every one Dranaria event there will be 4 Gabriela events. This should make it so her events don't get worn out too quickly and so that you should still be able to see all her weight stages.

So, what should you guys be looking forward to in regards with Dranaria content? Well, we plan on having several story events with her, each one will raise her weight cap. It should be noted that many of these story events will have little to no involvement from the player other than observation. The only story event that the player can interact with will be the very last story event for Dranaria. You can also expect to see some interaction with other npc's from Dranaria.
