Economic stuff
Added 2023-08-14 22:19:38 +0000 UTCHello everyone! Sorry for being silent for so long. I was a bit sad after getting home along with being exhausted and in pain, but fear not for I have been working! So, what will be in update 1.10.19D? Well, usually I would give you guys a few different options to pick from, however with this update coming out on my birthday I decided that I would pick what this update would focus on. Anyways this update will enhance and add depth to the in game economy, right now I have reworked how taxes worked, instead of being based on your population it is now based on your GDP, which is based on many different factors like the merchant guilds and other businesses. Along with this I have added a dynamic food prices, so depending on your population, amount of food available and food production will determine food prices. This can be a great way for you to make a few quick and easy gold pieces or quickly and cheaply replenish your food stores. I also added game difficulties, for now they don’t do much except making the game hard/borderline impossible to play, but when I added more economy events and management along with game overs it will be a lot more playable.
Right now I’m working on adding more economic events along with more events that mess with respect as respect will be an important function later on in development. Hope this looks good to all of you, update coming Thursday.
