Progress on step 1

This is the progress update for step 1, so as of right now I have gotten the coding for May’s room done, aka, talking to her, looking around, you know that stuff. The other thing I got done is I added the ability to get a table for May’s room and I’m in the progress of writing the event where she breaks said table, and I was think about it and I decided in this event you will have several options, you’ll have the basic ones, so, teasing her, ridiculing her and reassuring her. This is where the fun part comes in, so depending on your characters charm, what her opinion of you is and what option you chose, can and will influence her development, for example, if you she tease her for her weight and you have a high charm and her option of you is high, she will start to become more accepting of her weight. Or if you have a low charm and May has a low opinion of you it could harden her resolve to not be fat. So, basically, your actions now have more weight to them, and at some point I will add this system to other events of hers. The other thing I added to May was a happiness and self esteem system, which will help the player better grasp her feelings and add another layer of dynamics to her. Now, most of what I mentioned is still at the early stage of development, but I have the groundwork down, I just got to get the writing done for it.
