Added 2024-04-05 18:12:46 +0000 UTCSo, I decided to play though the game a bit after I saw someone complain about how buggy and unpolished it is. When I bug test I only bug test the areas I'm adding and then I polish them up, I haven't played though the game in about 6-7 months. I get bug reports and then I fix them, what I didn't realize is that when you guys play though areas many of the bugs there aren't "bugs" in the traditional sense as they look to be design choices, but they aren't. I played though the opening bit of the game again and I found like 10 bugs in the first few seconds of playing. I should have been bug testing this shit, I'm actually disgusted with myself. I fixed a few of them but my god was it bad. After I finish the current event I'm working on I'm stopping production of the game. I'm going to spend a week or two recoding and bug fixing the game as holy crap, it barely works and it's going to be a pain to add stuff onto in its current state. I had no idea it was this bad, not to mention how god awful the events the old dev coded are, I mean holy shit, they barely work and are terrible to navigate. I'm going to finish up the event and then I'll come up with a plan to recode and work the game, I'm going to start with the intro and work my way though the game, I'll also rewrite many of the older descriptions as they kind of blow are just plain bad. Sorry guys, I had no idea what a shit show this game had become behind the scenes.
