Price adjustment for new patrons (nothing changes for you)

Starting today, the price for new patrons will increase from $5 to $10.
For you (existing patrons) nothing will change. You will keep your current price of $5 as long as your subscription remains active. However, if you cancel at any point and rejoin later, the new price will apply.
Why the change?
Over the past few weeks, I've spoken with several other RoyalRoad authors and learned a lot. Many said that patreon prices that are too low often have the opposite effect because they unintentionally signal that your content is "below market standard", even if that's not true. I want to value my stories and the time I put into them fairly, and that should be reflected in the price.
In addition, I am now publishing two stories in parallel here on Patreon. Of course, in the long run that also means more writing, editing, and planning, and I want to make sure that this remains sustainable in the long term.
I hope you understand this step. For you, everything will remain the same, but for new supporters, the price should also reflect the actual value I try to deliver.
