Jiraiya is very much a father figure. He's more like the silly Uncle type though. :) Despite his silly ways, he is very very keen and knows what he is doing. He is not one of the 3 legendary Sannin for nothing. You will see.

2022-08-09 05:07:58 +0000 UTCA bit of misinterpretation here Colette. The 4th Hokage took 3 years to make the jutsu and perfect it. So it's much easier for others to learn it because the 4th had to figure out the steps to make the jutsu work. Now Jiraiya and Naruto now can just follow the steps

2022-05-20 16:27:47 +0000 UTCaah yes, this is what I have been missing, a regular Colette upload, much appreciated :) Naruto got extra motivated by the fact that its such a high level jutsu and that its by the 4th Hokage :D but it is perfect for him since there are no hand signs involved :) poor guy is messing up his body :P Jiraiya is like that nanny who gives something to the kid to occupy themselves and then goes to chill xD its true though that places like that are ideal for collecting information, you learn the most in brothels and pubs and so on :P the cat was the MVP this episode :D good that Naruto is so crafty and observant :) its really cool how profound this whole training is, there is quite a lot to it, its well thought out :) its pretty harsh but at the same time it makes sense, Jiraiya cant do it all for Naruto, its much better for his growth to figure it out on his own :) its sad to see Naruto feeling so down and having to be strong constantly when he is hurting :P that ending was perfect, such an iconic scene, really cute seeing them together like that, Naruto getting at least a bit of what he wished for :) hope you get better soon, get some more rest if needed :)
