They heard the drone because it was from the 80s because they had to send in something from the same decade so that it wouldn’t change and be rendered useless. 80s technology drones are notoriously loud . Old tech. Also to elaborate on the ending. In 2015 two movies came out that both used “Quicksilver”. AKA Pietro/wandas brother. However both movies were made by different studios. Fox made the xmen film “Days of Future Past”, and disney/marvel studios made “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. The reason this is important. Is because the two quicksilvers were different actors. Aaron Taylor Johnson was an age of Ultron and played this wandas brother. And evan Peters played the fox version. In this show they chose to bring quicksilver back as Evan peters. Now I’m sure you’ve watched the whole show already so you probably know the ending of who this Evan peters character is. But what they did was for about a week to three weeks they tortured people making them think that the X-Men universe was crossing over because they had used the OTHER version of quicksilver. I don’t know if you care but at the time it was cool and intriguing for megafans to theorize on .
