2023-08-19 19:29:00 +0000 UTCJust to clarify, the entire scene with Obito having a hole in his chest is Genjutsu. From the moment Obito stood up into Kakashi’s chidori (last episode) to mimic Rin doing the same. It’s a genjutsu. Obito still has a literal heart. He is just hyperbolizing his feelings using genjutsu. Kakashi using Obito’s own words against him and basically calling him worse than scum is also showing that Kakashi himself still cares about Obito’s feelings even in this current situation, It really speaks volumes for Kakashi as a character.
