Early Access: Why Sonic Origins Matters

Not sure how long I'll be able to keep doing these, but for now, enjoy early access to a video demonstrating one of the rare times I'm openly positive about a game before it releases. And it's Sonic related, too! AND, instead of something like this taking months and months of production, this was put together in only a few weeks! It's like hell froze over.
Though more to that last point you may notice a few... rough edges in this video. I refused to move the deadline because I want to maximize the runway I have before Sonic Origins actually comes out.
This video was born out of a conversation I had with some friends who were incredulous as to why they needed to care about yet another classic Sonic game collection. After explaining who was working on Sonic Origins and what their jobs were, I had apparently changed their minds. I figured it'd make for a good video, so what was once a simple paragraph became a 20 minute video. I worry that it might be a little too dry, but I digress. I was in a hurry.
I also tried out a different narration cadence this time. I don't know if it sounds appreciably different to any of you, but I tried speaking a little more softly when reading my lines out. Normally I try to go full radio voice theatrical cadence, but maybe I don't need to do that. Obviously it still seeps through, as old habits die hard, but at least I'm not straining my vocals like I used to.
Anyway. Enjoy your Memorial Day! I'd like to get the final version up on Youtube today, but given that the 1080p version is going to be a three hour render it's already 1am, I don't think that's happening. But hey, you guys get early access, remember? ;)
