Live Q and A tonight

Hey everyone!! Tonight there will be a Live Q and A in my discord at 8:30 pm CST, which is a half hour after the chapter drop tonight! I will be posting the bonus chapter after the Q and A ends.

There's a lot happening in the discord - I use it to share WIPS for both bonus chapters and regular chapter, and I am a pretty frequent user of the osora-related channels! There are different events like movie nights, karaoke nights, live-readings, games, and other fun stuff! I am also planning on beginning to do art streams within the next few weeks bc I finally am getting a real computer ahahah!

If you aren't yet in the Discord but want to join, here’s how to link your Patreon and Discord accounts (hopefully without losing your mind):

First, log into your Patreon account (computer is your best friend here. Mobile can work, but users often report bugs when trying to do this on mobile.)

Once you’re logged in:

Click your profile icon in the top right > Go to Settings > Then hit the More tab > Now go to Connected Apps

There you’ll see Discord just click Connect. A pop-up should appear asking you to log into Discord and give it permission (this is where mobile users might run into issues cause the pop-up doesn't alwasy show up on mobile). Say yes, click through the prompts/T&S, and click Authorize when prompted.

After that, go back to Patreon and you should now see a new Join Server button next to my name (or any creator you support who has Discord perks). Click that, and you're in!

!! Heads up: once you're in the server, make sure to read through and accept the rules in the #rules channel. That unlocks the full server, including our Q&A area and event space!

You'll be able to post your questions, and see what others are posting in the ⁠Osora QnA Questions forum, which is located in the "Osora Corner"!

Now if something isn’t working (because technology loves to not work), try these certified Stinkee approved IT tricks:

Turn off any pop-up blockers or browser extensions,

Refresh the page or log out and back into Patreon,

Disconnect and reconnect Discord under Connected Apps,

Use a desktop browser if mobile is being weird,

TLDR Connect your Patreon and Discord

Log into Patreon (on a computer is best),

Go to Settings → More → Connected Apps,

Click Connect next to Discord,

Log into Discord → Authorize,

Go back to Patreon and click Join Server button,

Make sure to accept the server rules in #rules otherwise you won't see the entire server!
