Lol one piece is good and has a better world building storyline then people give it credit for. (Bleach while I did enjoy it is the real sinner on repeating storylines with different skins even the movies follow the same path) however if you watch one episode a week you will catch up right before the heat death of the universe lol

Though you might want to find a Filler Guide, some of it's good don't get me wrong, The Loguetown shopping isn't bad, even the Rainbow Mist and the Mafia Boss is pretty good. But then you the Millennium Dragon and that weird collar power guy. Just something to think about. Oh. And, just a heads up, while it starts off with basic shonen fun, towards the halfway mark, around Water 7, it slowly gets more and more impactful. There are moments in here that WILL make you cry. For me, it was the Last Song of the Rumbar Pirates. That was the first time One Piece got me. Wasn't the last.

I’ve been watching One Piece for a little over a decade now and I go back every once in a while to old episodes and see things that I only notice now that I understand the world of One Piece more. It was great the first time around and still just as great the second time around.

I honestly think DeeBeeGeek would dig Bleach more. Bleach is still my favorite long running shounen. It also has one of the best opening episodes ever.

Even if you do the Naruto thing where you only react to certain episodes, although that would be hard since it can be very hard to decide which episodes are react-worthy and which are build-up to those episodes. But One Piece has changed my life, and I would love to watch it alongside you!
