2023-03-03 00:45:20 +0000 UTCI highly recommend you watch (after you finish ATLA) the YouTube video "The Brilliance of Zuko's Story" by Cardinal West. It's quite a long one at 83 minutes long, but I think it gives great insight into Zuko and Azula as characters, and as people.

2023-03-02 17:52:41 +0000 UTCOh yeah, he fucking hates Zuko and Azula is only on good terms with him because she buys into everything he says with the skill that is expected of her. Sad to say it but sometimes parents just don't love their kids and use them as means to their own ends. My dad was that way; highly abusive, manipulated me and my brother, and outright said to my face that he hated me before he left. Like sure, Ozai doesn't say he hates Zuko, but literally trying to kill him with a smile on his face kinda clues me in on that lol.

2023-03-02 16:10:50 +0000 UTCThis ep was insane as kid and then you had to wait 8 months - I switched from german to english just to watch the eps a few weeks earlier xD Also Ozai doesnt love his child - he just saifd this ep he was ok with it to kill Zuko back as a child. Zukos arc will be forever one of be best characters arc i ever watched
