Taishō era (大正 Taishō) is a period in the history of Japan dating from 30 July 1912 to 25 December 1926, coinciding with the reign of the Emperor Taishō. I would Guess this Plays in the 1920s of that Period. Thats why we see Power Poles, Trams and Electric Lights.
