Weekly Minis - Grell

Download the zip-file attached below for hi-res copies of the Grell paper mini cards! The zip also contains fully illustrated assembly instructions.

If you're completely new to Kev's Lounge Paper Minis you might be excitedly asking, "There are 135 others?" Yes, yes there are!  You can find #135 here. The rest of the series can be found over at the Papercraft Dungeon Facebook page, since that's where they were published before now.

Standard Cut vs Tight Cut

In the zip-file there are two versions of the mini to choose from. The first one has our standard style outlines. They have a nice generous outline that makes them very easy to cut, and a white halo around the mini to preserve a nice, crisp silhouette without you having to cut  them tightly. If you're a beginner, definitely go with that one!  The   second has a much tighter outline. It's more difficult to cut out, but   is a more popular choice for many experienced paper miniature aficionados who have the skill and patience and tools to do it just right! If you're one of those, this style might be for you!

Cutfiles

Mike over at Paper Realms has generously donated some cutfiles for this mini! They'll work with the alt versions too! I've attached them down below! These won't be useful to you if you don't have a Silhouette automated cutter, but if you do, you should definitely check out Mike's Patreon page! If there's a set of minis you need cut out, he's probably got exactly the cutfile you need!

Where to next?

If  you're a subscriber to this Patreon at any level, you'll be able to access and download the two alternate versions of this mini. You'll also get the weekly minis 4 weeks early! Best of all,  you'll get access to the growing catalog of Champions Series minis!

If you have any ideas for monster minis, post them down below! (Naturally, I need them to work well for this format, so 25mm base, and stuff that is easy to reskin so that I can do some alt versions too).

Comments

Wow! I work very slowly, it's a problem for me. I also have a lot going on in my life at the moment and I can't devote as much time to drawing as I'd like to. It sounds like power outages are a real probem where you live.

Julio

Haha! I generally get the weekly minis done fairly quickly... usually in under 12 hours. This one was a super rush though... I had just 4 hours to work on it on Wednesday, and another 3 hour session to wrap it up on Thursday morning. Had major power issues the last few days with the power being out for over 12 hours a day, and I was quite worried I wouldn't make it!

Dude, you work fast! You were inking this guy just a couple of days ago.
