Surprise, it's a new arc! This came as a surprise to me too, in fact; I had intended for arc 16 to encompass this whole extended sequence of events, but as usual, the tale has grown in the telling. Then I wrote this chapter as an interlude, between arcs 16 and 17, but now I'm 90% through the next chapter and I realised this shouldn't be an interlude at all! So, here we are, in arc 17 already! This one should be quite short, maybe 4-5 chapters; things are moving at a breakneck pace right now, as the interlocking parts of so many machines come crashing together at high speed.

Also! Once again, we have yet more fanart, from over on the Discord server! This week we have something quite special: Telokopolis herself, as seen during Elpida's dip into the network, titled As She Steps Forward Onto The Stage (by Melsa Hvarei). I love this! Seeing Telokopolis herself interpreted in art is really, really fun.

And! I did promise a double-chapter post sometime soon; as of the time of posting this chapter, the next one is 90% done, but not quite there, and I didn't want to rush it out. So! I might do it next chapter, or I might do it on Christmas day, maybe? I'd totally forgotten about Christmas this year, and it falls on a Thursday, sooo ... maybe!
