Secret Dawn [0.4] update (exclusive release)

Heya good folks,

Here's update 0.4! As I mentioned a few days ago, this one includes some important progress. Another day of missions and some long-awaited events.

By the way, when playtesting I got stuck trying to get a perfect score on the last stage of Jon's last mission. If anyone manages to get 100%, or anywhere close, I'd be interested to hear it. It should theoretically be possible, but it takes a better gamer than I...

As usual, there might be bugs despite thorough testing. This is due to JavaScript's "just-in-time" compilation, which can make it difficult to foresee some issues. If any game-breaking bugs are found early, I'll upload a fix promptly. Otherwise, they'll be addressed in the next update. Thank you for your understanding!

For anyone's especially interested, I also attached a .txt log listing the biggest changes that I could think of in this update. Contains very mild spoilers.

As for Eva's floor puzzles, I'm cool with it being possible to brute forcing some of them, I like creativity as long as it doesn't break the game too badly. There's a global "meltdown" mechanism meant to prevent a loop, should work most of the time. Thanks a lot for playing and of course for your constructive feedback! Really helping me adjust and ensure I make more enjoyable stuff for the future.

Yeah it's an insane number required to get it. It's calculated automatically, taking into account the bonus multiplier stacking up with all the red bricks, so it exceeds the visible limit. I may have to tune it down manually too.

I believe you, it's just when I tried the last one the counter stayed on 0% the entire time no matter how many millions of points I racked up. It might be a bug...? I got 100% on all the other ones proceeding it. Further you might need to look at the beta puzzles for Eva, you can gamify some of the floors puzzles by just messing with them over and over while they're freaking out in some parts. I like what you've done with the patch though. You're making good progress and it's nice with all the new mechanics in place.

Dang, thanks for the feedback. I calculated that you can get max on all, but it's very hard to 100% the last one. I've never managed to do it myself. Getting the pic to 100% was meant more as a side-thing. Anyway, 3 hours is a lot, and it shouldn't be tedious, so I'll definitely have to tune it to be faster.

Those were some very tedious puzzles. I think I got stuck specifically on the pong mini-game with Jon for like 3 hours. I couldn't get a single 1% on the last one, is it based on some other metric or is it intended..?
