And I’d like to point out that me and others who truly adore this movie could have Mrs. Brisby’s first name be Elizabeth, as a momento for her voice actress Elizabeth Hartman who much like Mrs. Brisby was shy as well. Also after four years since the movie’s release, sadly died from what people believed was due to suicide. I just thought I would add in this little fun fact and I think Elizabeth Brisby suits her well.

I just thought you should know that 'the whole world will hear us singing' line was one of my favorites as a kid and just now seeing your example of what song they'd sing caught me so wonderfully off guard I accidentally sprayed my sleeping cat with Dr. Pepper! 2019-03-15 19:20:53 +0000 UTCI guess I see where you're coming from when you think Mrs. Brisby didn't take part in the final battle but I think of it a lot like Frollo from LOTR where he wasn't really much of a fighter, but it's more of his determination and bond with his group that made him such a great character. Mrs. Brisby wasn't a fighter and it wouldn't of made much sense if out of nowhere she started fighting, even if it was for defense. I still think she's a great character, even if she doesn't "Fight for what is right" in the sense you were hoping for.
