Actually yes and no. While I can't seem to find that they ever explored it IN SHOW, they did reveal some plot points they wanted to explore. Including what turned G4 into G5. Long story short, the evil alicorn princess is from the same realm as Celestia and Luna, resented that they where picked to rule Equestira instead of her, eventually invaded while Twilight was the ruler citing how she was such a weak ruler. To hold her off Twilight took all the magic in Equestria and sealed it away in the Unity Crystals and (for some reason) ordered the three tribes to split apart to keep the crystals hidden. When she and her friends died the ritual of coming together to recharge the crystals and the "Invisibubbles" (I bet Pinkie Pie named them) used to keep the evil alicorn at bay ended. Since this was the ONLY time the three tribes would meet up, they stopped doing that, isolation set it turning the races against each other and without friendship the Unity Crystals (and thus all of Equestria) lost magic, leading us into the G5 era.

Why not make Chickenhare into a female too, would have changed nothing. Btw, Skunk girl and her weird cork stuff was clearly added as some creator's furry fetish.

2024-09-27 01:18:16 +0000 UTCActually, a lot of kings spent their time traveling and just leaving the affairs of the kingdom in the hands of councillors. Oftentimes, kings are just figureheads with no real power. Anyhow, there are a lot of south african shows and movies these days - I really recommend you check out Seal Team, it is hilarious and awesome at the same time, as well as the 2D animated show Twende, and Furiki Wheels is funny too!

But this reminds me of something someone said about the pilot movie for My Little Pony generation 5. "Why not explain things in the sequel/series?" Because you don't always get that sequel/series, as seen here!
