2023-07-23 20:36:03 +0000 UTCI just got done rewatching the reactions and now that my arm is a little better, I'll comment~ I can't even tell you how much I admire every actor that showed up in this drama. I seriously think that all of their acting was perfect for their characters. The evil guys were just... wow, perfect casting. And our good guys, perfect. And the bullies, they were perfect as well! I truly wish we could see more of Shin Hyeoku in season 2. I have a soft spot for bullies or evil guys who turn good, or at least try to. I saw some behind the scenes and other videos of the cast and his actor just smiles all the time! He's so precious. And I swear! If Hana and So Mun don't get together or get closer in the next season, I'm gonna have some words with the writers 😂 My favorite moments of the show would have to be... Hmm, I'll mention one from every episode. 1: The whole scene where Hana comes to rescue Mun from the bullies. 2: The scene in the restaurant when they've rescued Mun (and Ungmin) from the bullies, where Mun learns to walk and where they eat and talk. 3: This one has so many good moments... It's between the moment where we go to Yung and see what happens to the evil spirits, and when we meet Mun meets the "boss". 4: Definitely the moment where the "boss" and Hana came to defend Mun in the school and put the rich people in their places. 5: Not the most positive of scenes, but when Ji Cheongsin admitted to his dad that he killed the old guy in the wheelchair (with the scissors 😬) and when his dad just kicked him and hit him relentlessly, that left such an impact on me. I thought that maybe if we got the evil spirit out in time and got Cheongsin himself to therapy or something, maybe he could've been saved. 6: Hana going to Mun's place, meeting his grandparents and seeing who killed Mun's parents. That whole scene was just... amazingly done. 7: When the other evil guys came to the shop and Ms. Chu just slammed Changgyu into the ground for trying to kill Motak. That was so satisfying to see. 8: The first like 5-7 minutes of the whole episode where the Counters get out of the smashed car, and when Hana confronts her uncle. 9: The healing scene where the Counters find Mun after his fight with Cheongsin. I always remember the first episode and how they weren't to keen on Mun yet, and now all of them are crying for him to get better... If that isn't family, I don't know what is. 10: I actually really liked them taking the powers thing, because the Yung people realized that even though they're spirits and older and wiser than humans, they could be wrong. 11: The whole episode 😭 (I really really love the fact that they have someone as a spirit who is really close to their Counter. The bond between Suho and Ms. Chu is just beautiful) 12: The moment when Mun comforts his "uncle" Motak about Jeongyeong. The words that Mun said there just always spoke to me: "When you're a Counter, the gap between life and death doesn't seem so huge and that's comforting." 13: The last 5-10 minutes. Nothing else to say, but wow. 14: When Mun goes to save Hyeoku. I'm not sure if you guys noticed but the two guys Hyeoku used to hang out with were the ones beating him... And the progression with Hyeoku and Mun during the whole episode. Plus, the scene at the end of course. I love good action/supernatural scenes. 15: So many moments, but first... Jeonggu 😭 I really liked him! Plus the scenes where Hana finally defeated Hyanghui, and where Motak ruined Hana and Mun's moment 😂 And finally, where Hyeoku got his butt kicked (when the evil spirit was in him), and when Mun took him home and he understood what it means to have a family and warmth. 16: The whole episode. I can't believe the next season comes out next week! I'm so excited! This drama has to be in my top 3 or top 5.
