Yeah, I think I understand the concept just not the actual Korean words! haha! I tried to explain a bit at the end during recording but when I watched through it again, I was like, boy am I rambling about things I'm not sure on!! haha so I cut some of the rambling out. lol~

2022-07-18 21:05:27 +0000 UTCThey use Celsius in Korea so 80 degrees Celsius in Fahrenheit would be... (hold on, I'm converting) 176 degrees. In Finland, we don't have like the "mild" saunas (I think our ancestors actually created the first saunas, so that is awesome if I do say so myself :D), we use mostly smoke saunas or my favorite, dry saunas (it's pretty much the same what they guys use in that episode). We like the high heat because of our very cold winters here, so the minimum heat for saunas is like 75 degrees Celsius (I think it's like 167 or 8 in Fahrenheit), but I was raised in a traditional household, so the normal heat would be up to 120 degrees (248 Fahrenheit) and we'd stay there for a minimum of 30 minutes (we go fully naked so it's more bearable that way), and we sweat all the dirt and stress out and right after that we clean ourselves. When I was little, I went with mom and sometimes dad or both to the sauna and they made me stay there for almost an hour, so I didn't like it. But when I got older and started going alone, I could just relax, and let go of any stress and anxiety through the heat. We have a Christmas tradition where pretty much everyone in Finland goes to see their passed on loved ones in the cemetery in the noon, and then we go to sauna after that, and I really like that tradition. I don't know where this fact bomb came from, but hey there you go :D
