Thanks so much for your thoughts! After sitting with it a little bit we feel the same way. However, we feel like the emotional investment we had for Do Jin for 14 of the 15 episodes was completely ignored. If we'd had more time with Hyeon Woo and his story at the end, I think we could have felt better about the ending. We aren't mad at this ending other than that. We agree it made sense and brought a good amount of closure.

2023-01-01 00:50:35 +0000 UTCI think its a good ending overall. He was living a borrowed life but because he lived it he also changed what happened. The grandfather lived longer and died knowing that there was one person in his life who truly cared about him. Also, as his reborn self, he changed so many people's lives and outcomes along side his miracle partner. If he hadn't lived that 2nd life, then so many things would have been worse. He was an unknowing participant in the killing but his major sin was not telling when he found out. This way he righted some wrongs the family had done and made his reborn self a more memorable impactful person too. I think it was good ending-keeping the knowledge from both lives, he will be a better person and do a lot of good...plus they left it open ended that his girl just might end up with him after all.
