A Little Background

Hey Everyone!

I have been feeling absolutely overwhelmed lately by the amount of support I have gotten. So many new patrons and supporters, many of which I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting and conversing with on the discord. It really means the world to have such amazing people backing me.

In light of this, I thought it would be a good idea to let you all know a bit about the person you're supporting and how much it really means to me.

As some of you might know, I'm a 19 year old college student going into my sophomore year. I'm studying Electrical Engineering and Physics and am on track to graduate in 2024. Although I'm studying more physical areas of engineering, programming has always been a passion of mine. I originally created this firmware because I thought it would be a fun project and would allow me to add some customization to my printer, but it has turned into so much more. Having the opportunity to build and grow the community surrounding this project has opened my eyes to how amazing open-source, community projects can be. I'm so passionate about it now I even think I'm going to write my honors thesis on open-source development.

I just really wanted to make sure you all know how much all this means to me. And that even when college is taking up much of my time, I will always do my best to stay active and communicative to those who are making all this possible.
