Added 2022-03-16 18:01:01 +0000 UTCI've got a bit of a semantic gripe with Cold War era spy films: people who are directly employed on a full time basis by intelligence agencies are Officers, not Agents. Agents are informants, compromised assets, etc; people who typically have some legitimate access to classified information and share it improperly with enemy intelligence officers. I concede that "Secret Officer" doesn't have quite the same ring as "Secret Agent", however.
