Goblins Update
Added 2022-04-23 18:00:04 +0000 UTCGoblins get a little update too, mostly cleaning up typos and balance issues, but like bugbears they're also getting two new variants, because you can never have enough goblins.
The goblin king is a regular goblin with a fancy hat. He's got some standard "Leader Monster" abilities, but he has to pass a Charisma check to make them work. The fun part is when he dies, though. Any goblin can crown themselves the new goblin king, and goblins all love a good coronation, getting some serious buffs for a turn every time one happens.
The hex hurler actually has some genuine magic powers, on the other hand. This one can get an argument started in your party so intense that they ignore the goblins ambushing them, and just generally support the goblin strategy of trying to be elsewhere when the party starts returning fire.
