The spirrax is a giant floating nautilus that exists to break down the matter of a plane into dust that it can send back as raw materials to its home plane. Except for adamantine, that is, which it incorporates into its shell.
The phaerimm is like a giant leech with a sunflower for a face and a load of arms. Its interests include casting magic, eating magic, deflecting magic, and evil torture.
