Master List 1.37

Leap year, baby! February was a mistake from the beginning, being the month where there's somehow not enough time to do anything, but every so often providence smiles with a bonus day to remember the things that would otherwise have been forgotten.

The new MM is mostly out and I'm ready to confidently say that it's both a huge improvement and still not nearly good enough. Praise Hasbro, I've still got a job! Not only that, but I've found a kind and loving Foundry savior to rescue me from my incompetence; expect powerful and sexy transformations to the module.

Glumdark - My friend Tiger Wizard over at Exalted Funeral has an incredible-looking kickstarter going right now for a system-agnostic book full of weird ideas and beautiful art to get your DM brain churning. Look at that cover. Think of how good it would look on your shelf. I certainly need it on mine.

The Fermi Resolution - My other friend, the accomplished sci-fi and fantasy author Moe Lane, also has a crowdfunder that's about to launch, a Gumshoe-based game and worldbook that envisions a post-apocalyptic fantasy future in which the discovery of magic is the Great Filter that reliably stamps out upstart civilizations, and we get got.

The ADHDM - Skyler's videos are reliably some of the best-produced and most insightful in the DungeonTube constellation. You are missing out if you are not subbed to his channel yet.

Gatekeeper - Do you like trad-metal albums about Lord of the Rings? Of course you do, and this band's album From Western Shores is a handsome exemplar of the form. It is pure, joyful, and unselfconscious, as all great art must be.

Despite being a puny baby-month, February is maybe the most stacked lineup I've ever scheduled out; not one but two archdevils, even more crime-guys and dogs, and a truly buckwild glow-up for the drow making them probably my new favorite humanoids. Also, a gang of evil bank-mages!
