I didn't love season 1 of The Last of Us like other people did, but I enjoyed it enough that I'm curious what season 2 has in store. Right outta the gate, they've added Cutie-I-Wouldn't-Mind-Seeing-On-Screen Kaitlyn Dever to keep me interested! But will it be enough to counter my disinterest in Joel & Ellie? Or maybe they've actually improved their story / relationship?? If not... hey, at least this season is shorter!

2025-04-30 21:50:33 +0000 UTCYes the scene where she’s clawing through the zombies pressing on the fence was in the game! You play as both Ellie and Abby and it goes back and forth. It was one of my favorite spooks of the game so I’m glad they made it just as intimate and terrifying as the original

So when you asked where they're all coming from, below the snow.

2025-04-29 02:30:37 +0000 UTCI heard that poor Kaitlyn Dever lost her mom before the season started, and her funeral was only 3 days before her first day of shooting, which just so happened to be her scene with Joel where she’s lamenting a dead parent😔 Given how much the original Abby actress had to go through (getting doxed, death threats against her son) I hope HBO is looking after her.
