At the beginning the society focused on spiritual growth through rituals, meditation and offerings. Just as a snake sheds its skin to emerge renewed, the cultists wanted to leave their mortal body and ascend to higher realms of understanding. That is why they started to gather ancient knowledge and soon became obsessed with arcane powers.
Everything changed when a new High Priest took charge of The Serpent’s Blessing. No one knows his real identity, but some Cultists suspect he comes from the Emperor’s family. After all, his hunger for power is unstoppable.
Just in ten years, the High Priest transformed the brotherhood into a well-known public group and brought warriors inside, building a strong opposition. Fear and fascination started to surround The Serpent’s Blessing.
The High Priest’s aim is to lure more people into the cult and slowly sabotage the Emperor's decisions to spread mistrust towards the current ruler, and eventually, take over the whole country. His plans are mischievous, however, thanks to his intelligence and manipulations, no one suspects him of evil plans. No one, except for a small group of secret vigilantes - including Princess Samara.
Now, the High Priest will do anything to uncover and punish those who stand in his way.
