Mortaron - Airship Assult
Added 2016-06-28 20:16:50 +0000 UTCPerspective... I've done some dabbling lately, from backgrounds in the Ravenloft comic, and some TMNT art works and such. But nothing this extensive since Art School like over 10 years ago. I think I did okay.
The story.
While the party was resting, Indilwen was disturbed from her Trance by a small dart lodged in her neck. Not affected by the poison (good save roll!), she scoped out the open window with the blade of her spear as a mirror seeing a airship obscured by clouds and mist. Rousing the party, the discovered Aukan the Golath Warden was missing...
Climbing up the ropes the kidnappers left, Indilwen noticed the ship was crowded with short lizard-like humanoids (Kobolds). Each character used their special powers to board the ship as it was too far to simply jump on it. Ophelia the Tiefling Sorcerer send her familiar to fly over to the ship and then maghicaly switch places. Rhazya the Halfling Sorcerer used her lightning powers to bolt herself over to the airship while Indilwen the Eladrin Warlord and Jack the Minotaur Barbarian jumped as far as they could before Indilwen used Fey Step which she can extend to an ally as well.
There, the group was surrounded by 20+ Kobolds and a pair of Dragonborns. it got tense.
