2025-02-17 22:04:12 +0000 UTCWhat I loved so much was him getting put in his place and succumbing to Kaneki so easily...He could put up a fight but you can tell he was no match for Kaneki. I'm still very intrigued to see what Kaneki will do following this, how he will act now and if any part of him is still the same.

The dude's actually cutting off Kaneki's fingers and toes, waiting for them to regenerate and cutting them off again. It's when he says he's trying to fill the bucket with his severed fingers and toes that it hits me every time. I can't not see the contents of that bucket! The whole episode is horrific, even when it somehow manages to be beautiful at the same time. The horror; the beauty; the piano music; the acting; everything is perfect. It's such a great episode of anime to me. I love and hate it in equal measure lol
