I doubt Lakan, who was obviously upset that the guard hurt his daughter would want her to go inside to die. He may have had something to do with what happened, but that would contradict his action of telling the guards to let her in . At least that's how I see it

2025-01-11 15:46:14 +0000 UTCThe author is wonderfully devious setting all the little random "throw away" stories only tp later reveal they were all part of a master plan. Makes you wonder if any other little tidbits that have happened may pop up in something else. 19:00 Lakan was shocked seeing a high noble (by the robes) carrying his battered bleeding daughter out of the building. In a Twitter conversation with the author they stated Lakan found the guard later and beat the Hell out of him, but it was determined he was following his orders as a guard so no further punishment happened to him.
