Aggretsuko
This was an anime I didn't know I needed in my life. It was actually SO FUN to watch. I binged all 5 seasons within a week I couldn't stop watching. Being set in a working environment, I was able to relate to the characters as someone who's also worked a corporate job. It was a little mix of slice of life, metal and rage and everyday real-life issues. It was both chaotic and comforting at the same time if that makes sense. The episodes are 15 minutes long so the seasons go by fast (sadly), but it's perfect for the ADHD brain because its just go go go go. Plus the OST is perfect. I loved all the characters so much, too. This is going on my list of cozy and feel good anime recs. ALSO HAIDA...LEARN TO SPEAK UP SOME MORE FOR YOURSELF
My Senpai is Annoying
Okay so clearly I'm in my corporate life anime era and I remember hearing good things about this anime so I figured why not start it (I also needed something to binge)...from the cover I saw that there was a size difference between the guy and the girl protags but omg I didn't realize just how bad it really was? Plus they animated her to look way too young for me to see her as an adult. I tried so hard to see her as this working woman but her characteristics were also way too childish at times to look past. The only time I saw her for her age (which is 23) it was seen at her apt or out drinking beer LOL. Plus it didn't help they always had her near fully developed women. Honestly it was a really cute anime, and had some great moments that made me laugh and feel good. I ship the two protags together but I also felt weird thinking of them together...
Ron Kamonohashi's Forbidden Deductions Season 2
This season got more into Ron's family backstory and had quite a few good buildups to the finale. I did find this anime to be a little repetitive and predictable with the murder mysteries, but the more they got into the main plot, the more unpredictable it got. It touches on the fictional relationship between the Sherlock and Moriarty families which I liked because I loved Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock series. I continued with season 2 mainly for the sake of it, and because I like the characters, so I didn't find myself in love with this anime. I watched it more for the sake of it.
