YESS! I did pick up on her lyrics and was like you go girl and yeah I don't even want to think about the state of her insides after all of that was said and done... let's just assume everything is gucci hahaha but honestly though, I was surprised by what he was saying vs what they were showing of their relationship. it didn't seem good at all and mainly showed him being a little too strict. I agree that's probably what the finale episode will look like and maybe another teaser of that sus guy and what he's getting up to, but for now I feel you summed that up pretty well

He seems pretty oblivious most of the time lol It seems like the gig went well and maybe Pop even made some friends in the local entertainment scene. Surely she earned some respect at the very least. I really didn't like Knuckleduster telling his estranged daughter that she knew he was the greatest dad, cos it seems like he was a terrible dad to be honest. I wasn't sure if he was just trying to rile her up at that point or if he actually believes it to be true. Whatever, it seems he rescued her from spending the rest of her life as a beehive. It really creeps me out to think what a mess they might have made of her insides. Queen bee said she'd been looking after the body but those bees had tunneled themselves some pretty disturbing escape routes. I hope she's ok and her dad can put his ego aside and apologise to her. I think their family might heal ok if he can do that. I think you said this is the penultimate episode, yes? I'm looking forward to the finale but most of the story seems to be wrapped up. I'm guessing we will see a family reunion and possibly Pop coming clean to Koichi about the past. Besides that I guess just a bit of a set-up for season 2 if there's going to be one and that'll be done. I've really enjoyed this first season. I hope we get more.
