BON VOYAGE SEASON 2 EPISODE 5 | REACTION!!

Thankfully every person BTS has run into in Hawaii has been SO kind and helpful to those boys LOL.
This episode was just a lil stressful but it was also super satisfying to see how much the members have matured and grown since season 1. We had Jimin and Jungkook being confident travelling kings, V practising and using his English knowledge and Jin and J-Hope getting on the wrong bus..multiple times. ๐
Eventually the boys did reunite and began their preparations for their friendship day round 2 which I cannot wait to see!!
What pairing would Jimin be the strangest with at this point in BTS timeline? I was trying to wrap my head around it but I feel like I would definitely settle on Jimin and RM being a little awkward together HEHE

2024-12-28 22:54:32 +0000 UTCThe Bon Voyage Season 1 ptsd every time they lose something or get lost is so real lmao ๐ญ The fact Yoongi mentioned he searched how to get close to people and proposed that Rock Paper Scissors game on the stairs to Taehyung just like couples do is taking me out ๐๐ญ so cute! and the way Tae got shy and hid his face while laughing every time Yoongi said something sweet or held his hand is everything! you can tell he was the one flustered or "awkward" like he mentioned on Suchwita. They got closer and the Taegi friendship became so iconic since. I can't wait for you to react to the next episode!! It's one of my favorites from this season ๐

2024-12-28 21:16:21 +0000 UTCI know they were going for rare pairs and Jimin and j-hope are the closest pair in the group (bar none), but, as a JiHope bias, I will always feel cheated that we almost had a JiHope day and they changed it up. haha. But Joon and Hobi have great talks and Jin is as his funniest with Jungkook and Jimin so it was good content.

The rock paper scissors down the stairs thing Yoongi wanted to do with Taehyung was a trend from the early 2000s where romantic leads in kdramas would play rock paper scissors up or down stairs (sometimes at Namsan Tower). It was used in dramas like My Name is Kim Samsoon, My Sassy Girl Chunhyang, and most recently Fight For My Way (among others). The staff layers that scene where they talk about playing rock paper scissors with the song โI Still Think I Love Youโ by Sweet Sorrow, a song used in another early 2000s kdrama (Alone in Love) โ which the staff used because Yoongi will be referencing it later during the Taegi date.

RMโs little english lessons, 2seokโs red pepper paste/jelly struggle (the continuous finger hearts and flirting was so funny and cute), and jikook being so competent and happy together โบ๏ธ I agree with you, JK seems to be the most open/extraverted with Jimin and Jin, which is so nice to see since heโs such a quiet and reserved person usually.
