We started watching this show at the perfect time because they are just celebrating new years as well! I love watching shows that match my current timeline because it makes it feel like it’s currently happening and that V isn’t actually in the military right now. 😇 haha
I love the energy Friendcation is giving off so far - I’ll admit I was a bit nervous to see V hanging out with other friends but oh my gosh it was so precious to see how he interacted with them and also see them treat him so kindly and also like a younger brother. The place that they are staying at is also SO heckin nice, I love winter vibes so I truly cannot wait to see what they get up to as well as see more of his other 2 friends!!
What were your thoughts on Friendcation? It gives off more Are You Sure!? Vibe than in the soop I think!

I joined your patreon to see your reaction, and I loved that one you noticed the difference with the subs and what they sometimes say and the little adorable Tae details like him standing on tiptoes etc. Just an fyi when they say Tae will look pitiful it doesn’t actually translate negatively, it just means he will appear in a soft & small and cute way. Tae’s reputation & appearance in S.K to the general public can appear to be a bit cool and suave etc esp as BTS didn’t appear in much non company content for many years, so most people for many years only knew them from news clips and concert clips and photos and ad campaigns etc… so they have an image of him being a fierce strong performer but as we all ARMY know by now his personality is really cutiepatootie and he’s a literal baby… so that’s what they meant would be revealed lol. - Just some info on Wooga as this ep wasn’t quite clear… Seo Joon & Peakboy have been elementary school friends, Wooshik met Seo Joon through acting in the drama Shut up family/family around 2012/2013 (they even had a kiss scene) Seojoon then introduced Wooshik to Peakboy. In 2016 and 2017 Tae filmed Hwarang with Park Seo Joon & Park Hyung Shik and they because really good friends. Seo Joon then introduced them 2 to the other 2. And before they met in person all together they used to game together. So when they say they have been friends since 2018 they mean all 5. Choi Woo Shik & Seo Joon are really good actors in film and dramas. Woo Shik was in Parasite which won an Oscar. Seo Joon was in Captain Marvel. Hyung Sik used to be in an idol group called ZEA. These days he’s a popular Actor & Musical Theatre star. Incidentally Tae first met Park Hyo Shin whom he collared on Winter Ahead with - and was introduced to him through Hyung Sik who was in the musical theatre circles with him. Seo Joon & Woo Shik also are in Jinny’s Kitchen with Tae. They were in the original Youn’s Kitchen series and its spin-offs before Tae Joined them in the Jinny’s Kitchen season. Really looking forward to your next reaction of this series. 💜

2024-12-31 22:17:57 +0000 UTCPeachy, I was watching K dramas before I found BTS. Seojoon, Hyunshik (also Park Bogum) were 2 of my favorite actors. V starred in Hwarang with them. Seojoon is like the JIN of the group. He is the one that put the group together Peakboy is Seojoon's childhood friend and Wooshik is one of Seojoon's actor friends. They are a very tight nit group of friend's and yes V is the adorable Maknae. BTS has commented that they haven't met V's Wooga family yet but they seem to want to. I think so far only JK has gotten to hang out with them so far. Well as far as we know. They all are incredible actors!!!!

2024-12-31 15:21:34 +0000 UTCI find it so interesting in the divide between Maknae Line and Hyung line in terms of public friendship groups V Jimin and JK all have their own very public groups of celeb/idol friends V(Wooga Squad) Jimin(Padding Squad) JK(97 Liners) the older members either don't have the same friend group structures or they aren't public with it🤷♂️. I'm glad V was able to do this tbh it helps that his friends are Actors and not Idols due to how strict Kpop companies can be this is a great show I hope to see more members do this but it is kinda unlikely at due HYBEs poor relationships with other companies🥹💜

I love Crash Landing you and here's more like that one: King the Land (My personal fave), Lovely Runner, Doctor Slump, Because this my first life, When I fly towards you, What's wrong with Secretary Kim (Which I think you would really like because the male lead gives off major Jin energy lol and it also features Park Seo-Joon) and they kiss in ALL of these lol there is always a kiss and def more than one.

He’s the Canadian Korean friend who starred in Parasite and Train to Busan. Park Hyungshik is a former idol and now actor. He originally debuted in the idol group Z:EA in 2010 but now mostly acts in dramas. Peakboy is a rapper and producer and was already friends with Seojoon even before they were famous. Tae first met Seojoon while filming Hwarang and Seojoon basically introduced him to his other friends and they are all super close now and go by the name Wooga Squad.
