This episode was so wholesome and funny. We got to join V and his friends on a fishing expedition and somehow, they all did super well, LOL! I love being able to see how V banters with his friends outside of BTS. You can tell he really enjoys downwind time with his friends.
Do you have a favourite friend of V’s? They’re all so cute and have such fun personalities! I can’t wait to get to know them better. 🥰

He lived there as a Canadian citizen until he was 20 at which time he moved back to South Korea for university. As well as starring in other critically acclaimed movies, he starred in the South Korean movie Parasite which won Best Picture at the Academy Awards in 2019. I’m sure you knew some of this info, but wanted to share with you just in case. 💜

Of course thanks to Hwarang (which had Seojun, Hyungsik and V) this beautiful friendship started! I love his bonds with each of them they’re so special and different! Seojun helped Tae a lot with his acting throughout filming Hwarang which was how they go so close (& Hyungsik as well) and I love how Tae wrote the song Sweet Night for Seojoon’s drama! Hyungsik used to be an idol in a group called ZE:A before fully becoming an actor (in dramas and musical theater) so they have that special bond of idol life, I hope they do a song together someday! Peakboy is a rapper and artist so he also understands Tae from this point of view and it’s so awesome that they worked on Snow Flower together! & Wooshik and Tae have so such a special and friendly bond I love their skits and they’re like the youngest siblings in the group! You will love Jinny’s kitchen with Seojun, Wooshik & V (& 2 other amazing and sweet actors) when you are able to watch it!

I also like IU and Hyoshin friendships with Tae. As for Woosik, these two act like twins for real. there's another friendship I like, with someone called Levi, he isn't as well-known but we get to see their interactions on Instagram

In South Korea - like most other Asian countries - almost all are born with monolids, but almost all will have cosmetic surgery to get double eyelids to make their eyes look bigger (which is what most western people are born with) including the general public. And this is completely normalised in society there. So it is very very uncommon for Korean celebrities to have not had cosmetic surgery and for them to have retained their monolids. As normally their companies will encourage / demand that they do. Basically if you are a celebrity who doesn’t have double eyelids it means you are exceptionally naturally handsome/beautiful in the first place to have not needed to get it to fit ideal beauty standards. So to have 5 people in a friendship group, a celebrity friendship group at that to not have double-lids is even more extremely rare. All 5 have monolids or in Tae’s case he is even more rare as he has one monolid one slight double eyelid. It’s another thing that makes Tae famous for his looks as he has such huge eyes naturally & without cosmetic surgery, Coming back to this ep, I just love their friendship, their banter is so fun and so sweet too. They go from roasting each other (nicely) to being so affectionate & sweet with each other. My favourite lines/moments: -Woo Shik (to V) - ‘Taehyung-ah how are you so pretty when you just woke up? You just woke up but you look so pretty.’ -Hyung Shik Helping Taehyung cross to the boat by holding his hand: Taehyung saying ‘You’re making me blush.’ -Hyung Sik helping Taehyung with his big jacket and helping him fix his hood. -The affectionate way Hyung Sik calls Taehyung TaeTae and asks him if he wants to eat some sweet potato bun - Seo Joon saying Borahae to Taehyung (subs was weird and translated it as go purple instead) but glad you picked up on it, -Woo Shik & Tae role playing a couple and their baby chicken. -PeakBoy saying Tae’s flick to the camera during the concert made his heart stop. Too cute really. Also it was cute when you said that Tae eats anything and isn’t fussy… in general Tae & Namjoon are known as being the fussiest eaters in BTS as they proclaim themselves as having the most child like palette. Tae can’t eat spicy food at all. Even here if you notice whenever they make ‘spicy’ food it’s never as red as it should be. Also if you notice when Tae is drinking, his liquor in his glass is always so pale because it’s mixed with a lot of water or soda a lot of the time. I think what’s really sweet here is that they take into consideration Tae’s likes and dislikes for the foods they eat. Or that their tastes match up so well. That’s why it’s so lovely to see Tae eat so well here. Also same when it comes to looks I find Seo Joon extremely attractive. For me he’s the hottest in an I fancy you kind of way. In general while I really really love, cherish and adore Tae extremely in all his facets and talents, and think that Tae to me is honestly the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen and I’m in awe of his looks always, and think he’s so gorgeous & sexy during concerts too, but I don’t fancy him in that way if that makes sense. I’m more proud and admire his looks in a way I would a really beautiful actress etc. Also as you mentioned seeing people’s personality based on their gaming too, fun fact: Tae is actually diamond IV (top 2% on the most competitive South Korean server) on League of Legends and honour level 5! He shared his level on his stories… when his honour level came out it went on viral on gamer forums in South Korea, people were like basically it means he’s a Saint and it’s the best thing you could put on a CV to guarantee a persons personality lol. It was really sweet. Thanks for this reaction. 💜 P.s if you are cooking chicken on the bbq the beer can not only helps it stand up but it also helps it cook evenly, if you are cooking chicken laying down in a normal oven stuffing it with a whole apple or whole lemons is really common.
