Just kidding, but this man really does just blow me away! After watching Persona and Shadow, I thought that Hobi might follow up with a song with a lot of self reflection and maybe some darker tones but boy was I wrong!
He definitely self-reflected but in the perfect Hobi way with lively music, big energy, lots of smiles and lots of great manifesting for the future. It was the perfect feel good song to start 2025 with!!
i wonder how many easter eggs I might have missed though..

knowing this was intended to be their last group era before chapter 2/enlistment, were it not for covid, makes this trio of songs sampling and looking back at their first three releases hit so much harder. Particularly the intro to this mv with the rewind through all their eras!

You may get to know your values, preferences, etc). When Hobi goes behind the closet in the MV or his "hidden shelf" he talks about his shadow (like the sadness and loneliness) and accepts it. It seems like that dancing space with festival vibes and a circle light with a shadow represents the "Self". The Self is the union of the consciousness and unconsciousnes. According to Jung, the ultimate goal of the individuation process is the realization of the self, that means that to find the Map of the Soul you need to understand and acknowledge every part of yourself especially tge unconscious starting from the Shadow, Animus, Anima and Persona. The Self is totality and can be represented as a circle like the ying and yang (light and darkness) and the self might appear in forms of myths, dreams, fairy tales as a superior personality such as a king, a hero a prophet or a Hod, Which makes so much sense with the MV and the lyrics!! 👀 Once your find yourself and the Persona, Anima, Animus, Shadow and Ego coexist, you are truly happy. That's why this video may portray. All these aspects are just as important to find the map of the soul but maybe BTS chose Ego as the final destination bc Jung stated that Ego can be assimilated by or to the self. Also the word Ego is commonly substituted by the word self. In fact, in Korean these two share the same word 자아 and this word appears too in the city at the end of the MV as a signboard. 💜 Sorry for the long comment but I hope it helps! Understanding this concept will help you to understand better part of the BU too 🙂
