Yoongi is just THAT man at writing incredible lyrics and being paired up vocally with IU is a match made in heaven. Their contrasting tones are so stunning!
I love seeing the different ways that Yoongi tells his story. Whether it's with his music, visuals, cinematics - it's always such a treat to peak inside this man's wonderful brain.
I've been missing him a lot lately 😭 i really hope he's doing okay.

"People" was on D-2 album, you'll really love that album and the song.

Part of the lyrics of this song is connected to 'Eight' the first Suga x IU collab. They are really good friends (giving that Yoonmin bickering vibe 🤣) and I hope IU collabs in the future again with him or the other members. 💜 I love her so much! if you are going to react to D-Day I hope you watch Yoongi's interview on IU's Palette show. 2025-01-16 06:25:27 +0000 UTCRight, I think even some army want her to react to the D-Day Concert even though she hasn’t listened to the album trilogy and I find that crazy, knowing how Yoongi felt so safe to be so extremely vulnerable in a way he never had before and cry his eyes out while performing in front of thousands of Army’s is because he knew that we understood what he’s been through and understood what each song means, so consuming that content before listening to the album trilogy in order feels a bit.. wrong? Even the fact that the movie version of the concert shown in cinemas cut out a lot of the emotional stuff because it was a private moment between him and the army that truly knew what those songs means to him, says a lot. You can’t watch him perform a song like ‘Dear my friend’ before even hearing the original and digesting the lyrics first, that’s such an injustice to his work and vulnerability 😭 The fact that the album and title track are called D-Day is even a big deal, in order to grasp what that phrase truly means for him means you need to start at the beginning. Especially knowing that he had this trilogy planned from 2016, it’s his life story 😭

2025-01-16 05:23:32 +0000 UTCHi peachy, please check out our comments on your skool luv affair video because I made a long explanation comment already but in short - me and my friends that are also subscribed here are stressed that you’re gonna end up reacting to the D-Day album before his other 2 albums lol 😭 Please please make sure to react to his trilogy of albums in order, D-Day is essentially the last and final part of the Agust D story arc which was always Yoongis’ plan, so you need to react to the albums ‘Agust D’ and ‘D-2’ first BEFORE D-Day, pretty pretty please, as you said there’s so many layers to D-Day and you wanna appreciate it all, and to be able to do that you need to start with part 1, it would be like listening to Amygdala before listening to Daechwita, Yoongi was so intentionally specific with his album trilogy, let’s appreciate it in all its glory. There’s only so much context doolset can do, you need the context of ‘hearing’ the other albums first to understand the Agust D/Yoongi story, Yoongi released them in this order for a reason, hearing D-Day beforehand is also spoiler-ish to the previous albums. Knowing that D-Day is also most likely the last time we’ll ever hear from Agust D again, means he completed his story and character arc, so let’s start from the beginning 🫶🏽💜 I’m so close to making some kind of spreadsheet or document detailing the correct order of things because I can tell you’re a little lost, even on the last poll you put break the silence on there even though you haven’t watched bring the soul yet, which is like watching Bon voyage S4 before watching S3 first 😭 People pt2 is amazing! Can’t wait for you to react to ‘People’ (pt1) from his second album ‘D-2’ that links to this song, again Yoongi was so intentional with his order of songs/albums because he links songs/lyrics, production and themes together throughout the 3 albums to create an overall image and showcase how he grew and matured. When he says “you’re already more than enough to be loved” I always wanna cry, Yoongi is my Ult bias.
