The timeline was so funny because I am still reading Beyond the Story and had just gotten to the part where the boys briefly speak on the dumping incident and then today I saw a comment reminding me to look deeper into that lore and listen to friends so that’s what I did! It was perfect going into these videos with at least a little more context than none at all HAHA.
I love that V and Jimin can look back on this moment and be fond of it and see that without it, we wouldn’t have gotten incredible memories and 2 dope songs out of it!!
Friends was everything 😭💜 the performance had me giggling and kicking my feet too.

For them it was just this little inside joke in the song 🥺 I think armys are really interested in fights they've had because they're extremely close friends, like soulmates. Anyway- speaking of army mysteries- I am still wanting to know what was tasty in Busan...

I still can't believe they didn't talk for 2 weeks 💀 and the fact Jimin got so drunk, Tae filmed him and after talking he thought " wow I can't believe I fought with this angel" is hilarious 😭 it's so cute that bc of this 4 O'CLOCK and FRIENDS came into life. These songs are so beautiful and sweet! Also, the way you reacted and said EWWW JIMIN when he spoke like that at the end of the Friends performance is cracking me up 🤣😭😭

2025-01-24 07:34:03 +0000 UTCI don't think that's a toxic speculation, but realistic lol... didn't Bang PD himself say that it was fine if the members got into physical fights, just as long as they all talked afterwards and worked through their differences as a group? there seems to have been a sort of "boys will be boys" attitude about whatever supervision they were given in the dorm/personal time, I think. 😅

2025-01-24 07:08:45 +0000 UTCoh, I didn't get a notif for the reply so I didn't see what it was. but yeah, jimin is one of my biases, I love him and would never intend shade, if that's what it was implying. 😭 I was also thinking of that same clip, the "go play with your hwarang hyungs one." Interpersonal relationships and the feelings around them are so complicated and interesting! Like, Tae suddenly had this cool new group of celebrity friends and was being super affectionate with them on main. The woogas were doting on their new maknae and Tae loved it. 🤣 And not just that, but Tae was so busy with everything that it was even bleeding into his bangtan activities (for ex. having to arrive a day late for bon voyage S1 to accommodate Hwarang shooting). The members were probably not seeing much of Tae outside of tightly scheduled activities, not to mention Tae was super stressed and bottling it up... and Jimin might have felt like he was losing his best friend. If so, it would be so understandable! Obviously it's all just speculation based on the small windows we get into their lives. But ALL I was trying to imply with all this... is that I don't think the dumpling fight was really about dumplings at all. There were a million other issues going on at the time and vmin were a powder keg ready to blow, bless them. 😅

It was never written in bad intent or saying he is a bad person, being jealous wasn't an indication for that at all, but did you see the "go play with your hawarang hyungs"? Even the part where Tae said (he told me that he watned to be someone I can relay on). Ofc I'm not saying this is a 100% fact and the reaon of the fight, but for me it looks like it is, and it is a very normal feeling between friends, having it won't make you a bad person.

V was exhausted, struggling (as we learned later), and just straight up hangry, poor guy. he was having a really rough time, but he hadn't really shared that with the other members. meanwhile what Jimin sees is that none of the other members had eaten yet. and here's Tae rolling up at the start of the scheduled practice time, ordering food only for himself, and expecting the others to wait for him to eat. To Jimin, who is kind of a stickler for hierarchy and manners, it probably came off as extremely disrespectful. I love vmin so much. they're such distinctly different personalities, but they were forced into extra close proximity by going to school together in the trainee/rookie days, so their friendship was forged in flame. Plus, there's that special closeness you can only have with a same-age friend in Korea, since the age hierarchy is so baked into everything about their culture.

When you have a friend with you almost all the time and suddenly that time is being divided between other people, you get jealous. I had friends who had the same issue with me because I was super social and it took some time to adjust and I had to introduce some circles that might have similar interests so no one would feel left out
