This documentary was a WILD ride!
I thought they would show us Hobi creating his album and have some interviews sprinkled in so I was NOT ready to be introduced to his family (including Mickey), I was not ready to get an insight into his iconic listening party and I was DEFINITELY not ready to see as much behind the scenes as we did for hobipalooza!!
I loved getting to see brand new sides of Hobi as he directed his first solo debut performance! His creativity and professionalism is unmatched, the man definitely knows what he wants and he is 100% not afraid to go and get it for himself. I love a HUNGRY man like that HEHEH. >:)
I definitely think this was a great way to get our Hobuary (did i spell that right?) started!! Let me know what you want to see for the month of FEBRUARY!!

I'm hoping you do continue Hope on the street documentary. it has a lolt of good convo within all the amazing dancing. You get to see him with his dance crew from pre BTS as well.

When a member post/release something expect uarmyhope to be there, most often faster than you can blink. I love your take on him being mr sunshine, some unfortunately just see hobi as that, but he is wayyyy more than that, a true verstile and legendary artist. Really looking forward to you continuing the hope on the street series, was bummed that it was stopped. It was also a very good docu-series, a look on another facet of who Hobi is, not just as a dancer but who he is as a person. That series was also very inspiring, so let's get it on peachy, continue the series 😆

2025-02-03 02:25:29 +0000 UTCThis makes my heart so happy. I was also smiling through the whole thing. It has been a min since i last watched this and it was nice to watch it again with you Peachy. It was sad that Yoongi couldn't make it to the listening party but he was actually sick that day and was running a fever. Yoongi did post on weverse when the video for the listening party came out that he had been running a fever but it was not covid and that he was ok. But he didn't want to get anyone else sick so he didn't go (which valid reason). Also, Jimin and Hobi did do a weverse Live after Hobipolloza. I am so glad that JImin was able to make it and watch Hobi because Hobi really needed the support. Hobi said that he wasn't even able to really eat for days because of how nervous he was about he performance and after Jimin got there the day before his performance the staff made a comment to him about how much more relaxed he was after Jimin arrived. It was also nice to meet his mom and dad in a way. His mom is so sweet and yes Mickey is still alive but i do know that Hobi has mentioned that Mickey does have some health problems and is blind in one eye now. so my opinion is to do an album reaction to 'Hope on the Street Vol 1", then watch the D-Day concert (I actually thought you had already watched this concert) and then start "Hope on the Street" docu-series again. You also just watched the first episode. Thank you for this reaction Peachy!!

They do this with the documentaries of their tours that you watch also. It is D-#days as they are practicing and preparing for the first concert of their tour which is always in Seoul and then its D+#days for all the days they are on the road once the tour starts.

I think he managed to keep this hush hush until the event was close so all the news outlets didn't know why celebrities, actors, musicians from other music companies were showing up at Hybe. Plus all the people in Seoul around the Hybe building were posting videos of the 19th floor of the Hybe building all lit up and the music coming from that floor that they could hear in the streets.

That's the largest crowd to attend a lolla performance in 31 years. And, If I'm not mistaken, that is also the largest crowd bts/a bts member has performed for. I think Wembley is the largest stadium show bts has done and that was around 60k tickets. the bangtantv behind video for the listening party has a lot more interaction with the other members and them getting ready together beforehand (and Jin being an adorable introvert lol parties are NOT his thing). Yoongi couldn't attend because he had a fever :( Jimin coming really meant so much to hobi. He was more stressed than it shows in the documentary, tbh. You'll see if you watch the bangtantv behind of lollapalooza. Plus how he and jimin talked about it in the live they did together after the show. (highly recommend watching both!). And I swear, he pointed up at Jimin at the side of the stage when he was singing safety zone 😭 my hearrrrrt

I'm so excited for more Hobi reactions like the Behind of Hobipalooza, the weverse live he did with Jimin after performing (got me crying), the Hope On the Street with J. Cole MV shoot sketch (Hobi was so damn cute) and of course the Hope On The Street vol.1 album with the Hope On The Street series 🔥🔥

2025-02-01 21:53:17 +0000 UTCSorry—actual last thing, haha—on stage at Hobipalooza, I was initially so confused when he thanked Music Director Asaf for playing bass but then he said at the end of announcing the band “and a special thank you to our bassist, Matt,” because why was he thanking two bassists? But in the behind the scenes you can see that he rehearsed with Bassist Matt. Asaf must have had to fill in at the last moment. So I think it was just super respectful and kind of Hobi to still thank Matt even though he didn’t perform but because he invested so much time in rehearsal. That’s like next level humble and kind. Between that and watching him thank every single staff member after his party, I’m convinced Hobi is just the nicest guy on the planet. Such a good human.

You saw the videos and the food at the listening party, but he also found a custom designer for the outfits and checked them out as they were being made, commissioned the album art from KAWS, selected the photos for promo…and it was the same with Hope On The Street. He was in the studio helping edit and calling for specific shots while filming…even with his photo-folio, he was super hands on with picking the photographer and styling and selecting final photos…we know he’s a “J,” a planner, a bit of a control freak about his work, and we saw it on full display with his solo projects. It’s so sexy to me, honestly. 🥵

Idk if you remember the video you watched early on called "Jimin is Hobi's Forever Baby" but gosh, it just really is so clear that the person Hobi cherishes most in this world is Jimin. And Jimin loves Hobi just as much (as RM said "Hoseok is number 1 to Jimin...we're all second to Hoseok."). Like they shared a room for 10 years. They speak the same language of dance. Hobi is a validator and Jimin loves to be seen and heard. Their relationship is all I want in life. You said that everyone needs a Jimin in their life, well the fandom always says "j-hope is Jimin's Jimin." He returns all the affection and sentimentality and doting that Jimin gives out and makes sure that Jimin is taken care of, too. Ugh. I'll stop ranting now. But it's really just such a precious relationship (and totally underrated in the fandom).
