I love this man and Jack in the Box so MUCH!
After watching his documentary all I want to do is listen to his music and watch anything and everything HOBI 😍 I’ve even noticed changes in myself that I’m implementing because of him like not keeping myself in a box in any aspect of my life, we Stan these kings who inspire us every day!
This music video and song are the definition of Hobi not allowing himself to stay trapped in a box any longer. The whole vibe is different from anything else he’s put out and it’s INCREDIBLE! His darker side is really inspiring and special, I can’t wait to see what energy he’s bringing to us this year!

I remember he said that JITB was going to be darker than other past releases. When the MORE teaser dropped we thought it was going to be a old school hiphop song but DAMN we didn't expect him to go this dark with the makeup and everythibg like metal and make a grunge song. It was crazy 🔥🎸 army was so in shock that not a single soul called him "Hobi" for a couple of days 😂😭

Lots of Easter Eggs--one that I think is particularly cool is that the name of the protagonist in Fight Club is Jack Moore. JACK (as in Jack in the Box) Moore (as in MORE). His brain is so cool. I think this dark whimsy is such a signature of his. Hope World was dark dressed up in whimsy and JITB is kind of the opposite. He reminds me of Tim Burton in that way...Tim Burton did Edward Scissorhands and Big Fish which were very different in tone but still had such a strong creative signature. I see that in j-hope, too. He has a strong vision and I love that he's found a way to get that across in everything he does. Anyway, yeah, if you have time (maybe on your own) you should look up some of the theories on the MORE music video and the themes in Fight Club. It's really enlightening.
