Important update (Please read)

To save time for those who don't want to do a lot of reading, here's this entire post summarized:

SUMMARY
I'm no longer making suggestive content, and for tier 3 members who only cared to see that content, I will refund you for this month's charge upon request, just send me a message here on Patreon.

I know this may seem out of nowhere, but this has been slowly building up, and I've spent lots of time considering this.

In the text below I will explain why I made this decision, and what to expect from this Patreon page going forward. This is mostly a big update for tier 3 members, but there's still some stuff I talk about for the other tiers.

WHY NO MORE SUGGESTIVE CONTENT?
As an artist, all I really want to do is make things that are cool, fun, and inspiring. I’ve set personal standards for myself, which is why I have always steered clear of making NSFW content. Creating sexually themed content was not something I really wanted to do; it has always felt contrary to who I am. To be clear, I have nothing personally against creators of NSFW or suggestive content; it just never felt right for me to do it myself.

You might wonder why I engaged in suggestive content at all. Honestly, it made me feel more valued. I see a lot of negativity surrounding my content on the internet sometimes, but when I would come to places like Patreon, people would constantly express so much excitement and happiness, and everyone would leave some of the nicest comments I've ever seen. However, posting suggestive content heavily amplified this positive feedback. I've even heard it helped some people through dark times, which only encouraged me further. To be clear, this is in no way putting blame on you guys for the suggestive content. The only person to blame is myself for making the choices I made. There's also a lot of personal factors I've been dealing with that also contributed to me making that kind of content, and maybe in the future I will be more open and talk about it. I am glad that I was able to make a lot of you happy though, and I hope to continue doing that with the future content I post here.

But I have essentially been going against who I am as a person, just to have more strangers on the internet say more nice things to me. And no, I wasn't making suggestive content for the money. Yes money helped incentivize it, but at the end of the day I was still making suggestive content for free on other platforms because people loved seeing it. Yes, there were times I did enjoy making this kind of content, but just because I enjoy something doesn't always mean I should do it, especially if I know I'm probably going to regret it in the future. Also keep in mind; I will still continue to give some of my characters a bit of sex appeal, I just don't want to make content that is inherently sexual.

I put myself through a lot of stress when thinking about all of this. I realized that I have a choice to make. I can continue to sell myself out in exchange of getting more support from people. Or, I can stay true to who I am as a person, I can stand up for my values and work more towards becoming the artist I've always wanted to become, but risk losing a lot of support and money.

I chose the latter.

I completely understand if some of you are disappointed or upset to hear this, you have every right to feel that way. But for tier 3 members who want a refund for this month's charge, I will give it to you upon request, just message me through Patreon. By the time you are reading this, I have removed any old content with suggestive stuff. I did this because I don't want to look back at it. I just want to move on from it and leave it in the past.

WHAT TO EXPECT GOING FORWARD
For Tier 1 & 2 members, I’ll continue creating wholesome content. I’m also considering opening a community section on Patreon (a recently added feature) to engage more with you all and incorporate your ideas into small Easter eggs in Flower's Journey. Let me know what you think.

For Tier 3, expect exclusive animated clips from Flower's Journey (no major spoilers, just small stuff), and more Q&A sessions with Flower and possibly other characters. I also welcome your suggestions for new content—please leave a comment below if you have any ideas for more content I should make!

CONCLUSION

I recognize that I'm very likely going to lose a lot of support for this decision, and a lot of money too, but I'm perfectly fine with that. For those of you that won't stick around after seeing this update, I just want to tell you that I will be forever grateful for your support. I can't thank any of you enough, and I hope you all watch Flower's Journey when it's released. I have nothing but love for those who choose to support me. All of you are helping me accomplish my dreams and I can only be grateful for that :).
