I love this absolute KING and everything he creates. I am not a huge pop fan but Jimin is the exception. His vocals, aesthetic and flow are just like no other. He is the perfect combination of masculine and feminine and honestly, if I saw him at the club, I just KNOW my drink would be safe with him. LOL.
This was my first time hearing this song and it was SUCH a BOP!! The music video matched the song so perfectly and it was SO high quality that I was just in awe the entire time. This is definitely a song that I will be listening to on repeat until I get sick of it, need to take a 1 week break and then go back to listening to it on repeat again. HEHE.
What else should we watch for Jimintober? I'd love to hear your incredible suggestions!

i think its important to have the subtitles already on while watching the MV so you actually understand the meaning of the MV etc.. this song is actually very deep.. ofc your focus will be more on the video so i would still recommend to read the lyrics definitly afterwards!! but still pls leave the CC on! 😭💜

Also that breaks my heart but I am so glad that he is comfortable speaking on these things because even I personally know so many people who coped with quarantine like that! It isn't spoken about enough so he really is amazing for being so open💜

2024-10-10 21:37:41 +0000 UTCI'd really recommend watching either a live performance or a dance practice for Like Crazy. The dance is STUNNING. There's a lot of theories on the dance in particular. I personally love the English Version of Like Crazy even more, you can hear it on the Fallon performance but as someone else pointed out, Fallon stuff tends to get blocked. (Like Crazy has to be my favorite solo song ngl. the 80s synth pop just SPEAKS to me) I'd also recommend Set Me Free pt 2, and then you'll have his official solo album stuff all watched I believe. And Suchwita with Jimin would be fun too :)

Jimin wrote all songs in this album with help of three writers/producers - writing lyrics and composing melodies on each song himself 👏👏👏 Overall concept and narrative are also based on his own struggle and thoughts, so I gotta give it to him👏 This album carries on the essence of BTS. It’s very well made and delivers his message so effortlessly. I can’t wait to see him collaborate with other members, especially Namjoon on writing songs💜 2025 and forever 🙏 Oh, Peachy, and you are right! This song takes us through his drunken nights🥺 he said during COVID, he felt lost and defeated, so he was trying to shake that off with alcohol 🥃 which … really don’t help but make it worse 🥲 poor baby

I remember reading somewhere that he talks about all different feelings and emotions he went through during a difficult part of his life ( I guess covid?). also, the different interpretations to the mv you just watched and the dance practice are SUPER interesting! *there might be hidden meanings to it*. another jimin favorite for me is set me free pt.2.. such a powerful song

I’m still so proud of him! Also, if you want captions, please put on captions! You should do this the way you want and feels right to you <3 I agree with your interpretation, that it’s about getting lost in alcohol/other people to numb the feeling of loneliness. I love the imagery in the music video too, like the way one half of his face has makeup and the other is neutral. I think the woman might have been his mirror reflection? Fun fact, the guy on his trousers is Robert mapplethorpe, a US photographer who was most known for portraying the gay BDSM scene in the US in the 1970s. So that’s a really cool reference! Looking forward to Jimin’s birthday week!

2024-10-10 19:48:51 +0000 UTCthis is just my opinion, but i think it would be better to read the lyrics before and focusing on the MV after so you have a clue on what the lyrics are and will understand and connect the lyrics to the MV more 💜 also, jimin got inspiration writing this song from the movie with the same title, like crazy. for me, the girl represents jimin as well because when they "face"d each other on the dancefloor, it transitioned to jimin facing himself in the mirror. btw, this is the first korean solo song to reach #1 on billboard hot 100!!!

I do recommend getting into FACE first bc that’s his first solo album. In his FACE album there is a hidden track you won’t see on Spotify. It was only for the physical album called Letter and he released a live performance of it for last year’s BTS anniversary as a gift to ARMYs. It’s labeled Dear Army on YT but it’s called Letter. Of course his suchwita episode. I would love for you to react to his documentary that’s on Weverse titled Jimin’s Production Diary. It is paid content and it’s an hour long. It’s him working on FACE with three producers from Bighit. Very close friends to him and the tannies. If it’s too much, you don’t have to react to it but it’s just more of an insight if you’re gonna get into his FACE album. 💛💛
