I've seen this episode probably 30 times and just now caught that the end is supposed to show that Kendall is does not understand Logan by assuming, "he'll never do a deal, it'll be hostile", when the audience just saw Logan compromise with Gil, and he even says "doesn't a deal feel so much better?".
